Parents can expect a calm, step-by-step approach. Most minimally invasive treatments are brief, and many children return to normal activities the same day. Depending on the treatment used, your child may be able to eat and drink shortly after the visit. If a restoration is placed, we may provide specific instructions about avoiding sticky or hard foods for a short time.

Not every tooth is a candidate for minimally invasive treatment. Deep decay, infection, swelling or pain may require a traditional filling, pulp therapy or crown to restore comfort and protect the tooth.
